A quick glance would remind you that UND went winless – and didn’t look great doing it – in the opening three games of the year against Bemidji State and Minnesota State.

We all remember how things went down in November 2015.
In year two of the Bubba Schweigert era, the University of North Dakota football team finished the season with three straight wins to run their record to 7-4, seemingly a strong enough mark to clinch a spot in the FCS playoff field for the first time as a DI program.
The FCS playoff picture is still pretty cloudy as we hit the midway point of the conference schedule. Brian Shawn is joined by Sam Herder, FCS Writer of HERO Sports, to talk over what we know and project what teams and conferences can secure bids in the 24-team playoff field.
