HyVee Tailgate Tips: Philly Cheesesteak Dip

Midco Sports Network and the seven Sioux Falls Hy-Vee Stores have teamed up to provide Hy-Vee Tailgate Tips throughout the 2015-2016 sports season.  During every home SDSU and USD broadcast, on Midco SN, a Sioux Falls area Hy-Vee Chef will prepare something you can create for your guests when you watch the game.

Blow your friends and family away with this Philly Cheesesteak Dip at your next tailgater or watch party.

Philly Cheesesteak Dip

Ingredients:

  • 8oz roast beef
  • 1 cup diced mixed bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1T Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 3T butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 1/2 cup of shredded Italian blend cheese

Sauté all vegetables in a large skillet with butter until soft. While cooking vegetables, rough chop roast beef.

Remove vegetables from heat, and add cream cheese. Stir until melted. Add sour cream and cheese along with roast beef and stir.

Bake at 375 degrees uncovered until lightly browned, about 20-25 minutes.
