Bemidji State University

Bemidji State University was founded in 1919. Originally named Bemidji Normal School, BSU is located in Bemidji, Minnesota on the western shore of Lake Bemidji.

Bemidji State is a Division II school, although there hockey team competes in Division I. The Beavers compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
